Bright Computing Wins Intel Cluster Ready “Explorer” Award

Seattle, Washington — Supercomputing ’11 – Bright Computing today announced it has won the Intel Cluster Ready Explorer Award. Recognized at the annual Intel Cluster Ready Partner Appreciation Breakfast held during the Supercomputing ’11 conference, Bright earned the honor based on the company’s contributions to the advancement of high performance computing (HPC).

Bright Computing was recognized for its work in implementing the Intel Cluster Ready Program globally, as well as for supporting the development of Intel’s next generation HPC processor technology. Martijn de Vries, CTO of Bright Computing, accepted the award on behalf of the company.

The news of Bright Computing’s award from Intel comes at the time the company introduced Bright Cluster Manager(TM) version 6.0.
