Technical Training Videos on OpenStack and Big Data to Help You Learn in a Bright Way

If you are a system administrator, an engineer, or a developer working with cluster and cloud infrastructure in general, these videos are designed for you.

They are based on the study materials used for delivering onsite technical trainings during almost two years in EMEA and now in the US, and specially designed by Bright Computing engineers to help you boost both your knowledge of Bright Cluster Manager as well as Bright OpenStack and the technologies behind it (OpenStack, Ceph, Hadoop, Spark, Cassandra, and more).

You will explore different options for deploying and managing clusters, as well as get a closer look at the software architecture, become familiar with the installation and configuration process, and learn about the product’s capabilities.

At the moment we have 2 learning modules — Bright for Big Data and Bright OpenStack —available, and we plan on releasing a new module on Bright for HPC soon.

OpenStack Technical Training consists of 9 videos that will help you get started with building clouds, and learn how to deploy, manage, use, and inspect OpenStack, setting up Ceph for storage, and using Cloud Bursting to expand your cloud to keep up with demand.

“Our OpenStack videos are a great place to start your journey through the vast landscape of open source clouds.” — thinks Piotr Wachowicz, Team Lead Cloud at Bright Computing, who is delivering the OpenStack module.

Big Data Technical Training consists of 8 videos that will help you learn more about building and managing big data clusters running Hadoop, Spark, and Cassandra.

"In a Big Data module you will discover how to deploy and manage Big Data clusters without a big hassle. Along with a demo session, we cover some theory behind Hadoop, Spark, and Cassandra, as well as the details of our add-on." — explains Michele Lamarca, Team Lead Big Data at Bright Computing, who is delivering the Big Data module.

All the videos are available in our Online Training Center, and on our YouTube channel (OpenStack Technical Training playlist, Big Data Technical Training playlist).

Have a good time learning!
