Sandia has delivered a HPC cluster system and enterprise supercom facilities to University laboratories and Government research institutes.
Askanet has focused on HPC systems since 2001, earning know-how by installing over 3,000 nodes for our main customers in Government, Academia, and Research Laboratories. Specific customers include KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), KISTI (Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information), and NIMR (National Institute of Meteorological Research).
As scientists, we always are time constrained. Our priority is our research, not managing our clusters. Bright is intuitive to use and, with it, I can effectively manage my cluster without wasting time writing scripts, or synchronizing management tool revisions. Provisioning is fast and easy. I prefer this approach over open-source toolkits.
Bright’s use of open standards, availability of a rich API, plus ability to support customized HPC configurations, makes for a natural fit in our IaaS platform.
