The Computational Chemistry Research Group is part of Scuola Normale Superiore and comprises a team of 30 researchers, graduate students, post-docs and staff. The group develops, validates and applies methods based on quantum mechanics and statistical thermodynamics.
This case study investigates why the Computational Chemistry Research Group chose Bright as its de facto infrastructure management solution back in 2012, and the important role that Bright has played in the group’s ever-evolving HPC environment ever since.
According to the Research Group’s spokesperson, Bright enables the team to process changes, upgrades, and security updates in minutes. Researchers are able to run their projects themselves, with Bright empowering everyone to be more efficient and more successful.
