CUG_Logo.pngBright Computing is proud to be a sponsor of the annual Cray User Group conference (CUG 2017) being held May 7-11 in Redmond, Washington. CUG brings together expert users for a technical exchange about products and services, and the opportunity for Cray and their partners to learn from the attendees about the features and capabilities that they need.

If you are attending the conference, please join Bright Computing for a Birds of a Feather session on “Building an Enterprise-Grade Deep Learning environment with Bright & Cray.” In this session, scheduled for 5:10pm on Wednesday, May 10, Robert Stober, Director of Systems Engineering at Bright, will discuss how to simplify the building and deployment of an enterprise-grade deep learning environment. Robert will be looking at how best to find, configure, and deploy all of the interdependent pieces needed to run deep learning libraries and frameworks. More specific Bright Cluster Manager details will be covered in our Sponsor Talk scheduled for 9:50am on Thursday morning, May 11.

We want to understand your business demands and how we can help transform IT to make organizations more agile and efficient. To address the expanding demands on IT, one of the areas we are focused on is the dynamic datacenter. We would like to share our thoughts and hear your views on some challenges in achieving a dynamic datacenter, including:

  1. How compute resources may be dynamically created and / or provisioned based on workload demand and in accordance with configured policies.
  2. How to factor in the complexity of physical, on-premise, or virtual nodes in a public or a private cloud, or a combination of all of the above.
  3. How to dynamically create, power-on, and provision resources on-the-fly for a specific workload.

While attending the conference and the numerous networking events at CUG, please look for the Bright Computing representatives and talk to us about your specific challenges and to demonstrate how Bright Cluster Manager for HPC can help you to easily deploy and manage high-performance computing and big data IT infrastructures.

We look forward to seeing you in Redmond!
