In our latest vodcast, we discuss some of the recent enhancements to Bright OpenStack that will help end users deploy, provision, and manage their private cloud infrastructure more easily. The top changes from Version 7.2 are the simplified deployment process and deepened integration between management software and OpenStack software. We also highlight some of the enhancements available in 7.3, which was announced at ISC16 and will start shipping later this month.
This brief video takes a look at the deployment wizard’s new Express Mode. While the step-by-step deployment wizard is still available, Express Mode lets end users deploy a reference cloud more quickly and easily than ever. Another key new feature discussed is the ability for system admins to group nodes into logical units using what we call configuration overlays. And there is more.
Bright OpenStack 7.3 adds support for Mitaka, the latest version of Openstack, and a production-ready, fully supported Cluster-as-a-Service (CaaS) feature.
