Bright Computing, a global leader in cluster and cloud infrastructure automation software, today announced it will sponsor the Gartner Catalyst 2017 conference taking place in San Diego, CA, August 21-24, 2017.  Bright Computing will exhibit in booth # 408 and will demonstrate its software solutions that automate the provisioning, managing, and monitoring of advanced IT Infrastructures in a data center or in the cloud. In addition, Bright will present at the conference with a deep dive into their solutions that provide a unified, hardware-agnostic system for managing software-defined infrastructure for compute-intensive applications including HPC, Big Data, AI, Deep Learning, and OpenStack-based private clouds.

Martijn de Vries, CTO at Bright Computing, will present “Making the Complex Simple for all Your Compute Intensive Applications”, in the Tech Zone of the show floor scheduled for 12:35-12:55pm on Wednesday, August 23. This presentation will show how Bright Computing software solutions simplify compute-intensive applications. Bright will demystify the complexities of GPUs and applications like Docker, Kubernetes, Mesos, and more and explain how to simplify the provisioning, monitoring and management of these applications in a private, public, or hybrid environment to increase IT agility, accelerate innovation, and turn data into insights.

The Catalyst conference offers the opportunity to learn and share with industry analysts, peers and technical SMEs about everything IT. Visit Bright Computing in Booth # 408 in the Infrastructure, Operations & Datacenter exhibit in the Harbor Ballroom, where they will demonstrate the attributes of Bright Cluster Manager 8.0 and Bright OpenStack 8.0 for:

  • Combining cloud and traditional HPC workloads on a single cluster with Kubernetes
  • Deep learning for HPC and hyperscale computing
  • Convergence of storage and workload management for Big Data and HPC
  • Convergence of high performance and cloud computing (with a focus on COD, OpenStack, Azure, and AWS)
