San Jose, California — Bright Computing, a leading provider of management software for clusters and clouds, will be demonstrating its latest products at Supercomputing 2014 (SC14), the premiere event for high performance computing (HPC). Bright will have several key members of its development organization on hand to demonstrate the latest features of Bright Cluster Manager®, and speak one-on-one with conference attendees.

SC14 is an annual event held in different venues across the country. It attracts attendees from around the world who are interested in learning about the latest developments in high performance computing. If past events are any indication, many new HPC products will be launched during this event. Bright Computing, which received a capital investment in July, continues to expand its influence in the HPC market, and this year will mark its 5th year in a row as an event sponsor and exhibitor.

Cluster-in-cluster Technology
Visitors to the Bright booth will learn about several new features of Bright Cluster Manager, including one that provides sub-clustering technology. Sub-clustering enables Bright customers to spin up virtual clusters within a Bright OpenStack cloud. Both the virtual sub-cluster and the physical cluster can be controlled from a single management interface.

Dell BIOS integration
Bright will also be previewing the new Dell BIOS-integration that will become a standard feature in the next release of Bright Cluster Manager 7.1.

“SC14 is an important event in the HPC world and serves as a gathering place for the industry. Bright Cluster Manager is now used in more then 400 research facilities, universities, and companies around the world, including 20 companies in the Fortune 500,” said Dr. Matthijs van Leeuwen, CEO and founder of Bright Computing. “We come to SC every year to tell people about our latest developments, share ideas, and connect with the community.”
