San Jose, California — Bright Computing, the leading provider of vendor-independent cluster and cloud management software, announces that Dr. Denis Shestakov will be speaking on “Distro-Independent Hadoop Cluster Management,” at the upcoming Hadoop Summit North America 2015 being held June 9-11, 2015, in San Jose, California. The presentation will be held June 9th at 5:25 in Room 212. Bright will also be announcing a series of advancements, upgrades, and enhancements to their Hadoop offerings at booth S4 of the Hadoop Summit.

Dr. Shestakov, an experienced data engineer specializing in Hadoop cluster management solutions, will focus on the specific knowledge required to deploy and maintain a Hadoop cluster. He will review the challenges faced by even seasoned Hadoop users due to unintended mismatches in the numerous array of configuration parameters. After offering an informed overview of operations required for the deployment and ongoing management of a production Hadoop cluster, Denis will discuss an architecture for distro-independent management of Hadoop clusters that supports most Hadoop cluster operations. After briefly demonstrating Bright Computing’s solution for managing Hadoop clusters, Denis will be available to discuss open issues and offer answers to questions raised.
