Wednesday October 26, 2016 – Amsterdam, the Netherlands – Bright Computing, the leading provider of hardware-agnostic cluster and cloud management software, today announced that it has been invited to speak at an event co-hosted by Dell EMC and Intel, in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
The HPC Summit takes place on Thursday October 27 2016, at the Amsterdam Arena. The half day event is designed to be informative and highly interactive, giving delegates from the life sciences and academic industries the opportunity to learn more about recent developments in HPC architectures, and discuss these insights with speakers and fellow delegates.
Jonathan Muller, Development Team Leader at Bright Computing has been invited to give a presentation on “Containers, Clouds and Combos – Emerging Delivery Models for HPC.” The presentation will take place on October 27, at 12.35pm. In the talk, Jonathan will look at the exciting but also somewhat daunting array of options that HPC and Big Data Cluster Administrators face, for deploying and delivering clustered IT infrastructure. He will explain that containers, public cloud, and private cloud are already compelling deployment models for traditional IT applications and services.
He will show that each of these also deserves consideration as a viable option for deploying and managing high-performance, clustered applications and workloads. In the presentation, delegates will learn how these emerging deployment models can be used - individually or together - to drive higher efficiency and productivity across clustered IT infrastructure. To arrange a meeting with Bright at the event please email firstname.lastname@example.org
