San Jose, California / Amsterdam — Bright Computing, a leader in cluster management software for high-performance computing (HPC), announced today that ING Corporate Investments, a subsidiary of ING, a global financial institution, has acquired a minority stake in the company. Bright Computing was founded in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and has its US headquarters in San Jose, California.

This investment will enable Bright Computing to further expand its reseller network worldwide and its direct sales capabilities in the US, as well as fund continued product development. The company has implemented an aggressive growth strategy that builds on its strong momentum in the HPC market.
