Bright Cluster Manager 8.0 includes support for Microsoft Azure. The Bright / Microsoft Azure integration enables organizations to provision and manage virtual servers running inside the Microsoft Azure cloud, as if they were local machines. Organizations can use this feature to build an entire cluster in Microsoft Azure from scratch, or extend an on-premise cluster into the Azure cloud when extra capacity is needed. Bright Cluster Manager enables cost savings by instantiating compute resources in Microsoft Azure only when they are needed. Built-in intelligence creates instances only after the data is ready for processing and the backlog in on-site workloads requires it.
“We are pleased to see Bright Computing’s commitment to Microsoft Azure with key features that deliver cloud benefits of agility, scale and hybrid consistency that our mutual customers need.”

About Microsoft Azure
Microsoft Azure is a growing collection of integrated cloud services that developers and IT professionals use to build, deploy and manage applications through a global network of data centres. With Azure, organizations get the freedom to build and deploy wherever they want, using tools, applications and frameworks of choice.
